چکیده

A free time impulsive control problem with state constraints and equality and inequality constraints on the trajectory endpoints is considered in this article. After presenting an appropriate solution concept, necessary conditions of optimality in the form a Maximum Principle are stated. An essential feature of these conditions is that they do not degenerate, i.e., they remain informative even for abnormal control processes. These conditions are derived by using a penalty function method.

Nondegenerate necessary conditions for nonlinear optimal control problems with higher-index state constraints

For some optimal control problems with pathwise state constraints the standard versions of the necessary conditions of optimality are unable to provide useful information to select minimizers. There exist some literature on stronger forms of the maximum principle, the so-called nondegenerate necessary conditions, that can be informative for those problems. These conditions can be applied when c...

A Nondegenerate Maximum Principle for the Impulse Control Problem with State Constraints

In this article, a free-time impulsive control problem with state constraints and equality and inequality constraints on the trajectory endpoints is considered. A weakened maximum principle is obtained for problems with data measurable in the time variable, being the time transversality conditions deduced with the help of some extra convexity assumption on the state constraints. In the case of ...

Optimality Conditions for Optimal Impulsive Control Problems with Multipoint State Constraints

This paper deals with optimal impulsive control problems whose states are functions of bounded variation and impulsive controls are regular vector measures. The problem under consideration has multipoint state constraints. Examples of such problems may be found in mechanics, quantum electronics, robotics, ecology, economics, etc. Sufficient global optimality conditions involving certain sets of...

Normality of the maximum principle for non convex constrained Bolza problems∗

We consider a Bolza optimal control problem with state constraints. It is well known that under some technical assumptions every strong local minimizer of this problem satisfies first order necessary optimality conditions in the form of a constrained maximum principle. In general, the maximum principle may be abnormal or even degenerate and so does not provide a sufficient information about opt...

Hamilton-Jacobi inequalities for optimal impulsive control problems ?

Sufficient and necessary global optimality conditions for nonlinear impulsive dynamic optimization problems with endpoint constraints are obtained. Proofs of these results are based on Hamilton-Jacobi canonical optimality theory. As consequence, a Maximum Principle reverse into sufficient optimality conditions is proposed.
